Photographs of some of the best known Holocene intertidal stomatolite heads in the world. Most photos were taken by Christopher Kendall on various field trips to Shark Bay and Lake MacLeod lead by Brian Logan.  A series of diagrams have been copied from the publications of Brian Logan. There are also a number of spectacular photographic images taken from outer space that have been downloaded from NASA.
