The upper part of the HST reef core (branching and massive corals) has been removed by erosion (occurred during subsequent fall and low-satnd of sea level). Beds above the reef core correspond to inner-lagoon lithofacies of the HST of the subsequent 5th-order sequence. Thin Pleistocene skeletal eolian deposits and paleosoils in the uppermost part of the cliff. Cala Carril on the south east coast of Mallorca, Spain (Kendall and Pomar 2004).
