117-Just-East-Punta-Negra

117 The lower part of the cliff correspond to reef core lithofacies, with sigmoidal bedding, prograding to the south (left) whereas the bedded lithofacies correspond to overlaying lagoonal beds. Note in the left side of the picture, lower part of the cliff, the sigmoidal-bedded reef core passing backwards (to the right) into horizontally bedded lagoonal facies. Punta Negra South on the south east coast of Mallorca, Spain (Kendall and Pomar 2004).
